If you're a business owner, chances are you didn't get into entrepreneurship to do things like payroll. Still, you can't run a healthy business without being organized and on top of activities like payroll. 

Welcome to our Payroll Excel Template. 

This template makes it a breeze to easily calculate and keep a record of your company payroll.

The first component of the Payroll Template is the Setup sheet. Enter tax filing options, update standard tax rates and enter the start and end date for the current Pay Period being processed.

The second component is the Employee Info sheet. Enter employee information and all relevant deduction information for each employee. Note that the Employee ID is required for sheet to work and should be entered as a unique value for each employee.

The third component is the Payroll Calculator sheet. Enter time employee worked and other relevant information. Do not type in gray cells, which contain formulas.

The final and fourth component is the Dashboard sheet. This sheet is fully automated, with the exception of the units drop-down menu. It provides the user a snapshot of their number of employees, hours worked, gross pay etc. by Pay Period, Weekly (average) or Daily (average).

You don't need to be an Excel expert to make use of our templates. Each template is standardized with an 'Introduction' tab that gives you an overview and specific instructions on how to navigate the template. The introduction sheet contains four parts 

1) Content - What the template does. 

2) Customization Difficulty - On a scale of 1-3, how easy it is to customize the template to your specific need. 

3) Explanation of Sheets - A detailed explanation of the logic and use for each sheet.

4) How to Customize - Steps on how to customize the template to your specific business needs.

In addition to these four  things, most templates come with a video tutorial that walk you through the template, step-by-step, so you know exactly how to achieve what you want with Excel.
